Arrival Day - Monday 4 September
Travel to Achnasheen in time for dinner at 19:00.
Stage 1 - Tuesday 5 September, Achnasheen to Torridon (69 miles, 1762 meters climbing)
Scale the biggest climb of the entire tour before lunch! The mighty Bealach-na-Ba climb is nearly 6 miles in length from sea level, with an average gradient of 7% (very short sections of 20%) and is known as the highest road climb in the entire UK, the Holy Grail for cyclists that like to climb!
Stage 2 - Wednesday 6 September, Torridon to Ullapool (86 miles, 1935 meters climbing)
The hardest day of the Tour, with rolling terrain and a serious sting in the tail near the finish before rolling down into the peaceful harbour of Ullapool sitting by the sea.
Stage 3 - Thursday 7 September, Ullapool to Kylesku (55 miles, 1856 meters climbing)
A more relaxing day to take our time and soak up the views as we hug the rugged Scottish coastline.
Stage 4 - Friday 8 September, Kylesku to Altnaharra (82 miles, 1850 meters climbing)
Like Wednesday, another challenging day in the saddle, cycling through incredible scenery at the very North of the country. You will pass the ancient Smoo Caves and traverse an amazing causeway over the North Sea before riding on the most remote road back south to the heart of the Highlands.
Stage 5 - Saturday 9 September, Altnaharra to Contin (66 miles, 1000 meters climbing)
Easiest day of the tour, with one last climb before a downhill run-in to finish off your cycle Tour of The North.
